Er hat Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Software für Komforttelefone, Übertragungseinrichtungen für die Telekommunikation, für Systeme zur Zugangskontrolle und beim Aufbau der dazugehörigen Entwicklungsumgebungen. Seit 1990 arbeitet er mit der Programmiersprache C im Embedded-Bereich.

Ich bin Embedded Softwareentwickler und habe nach einem Buch gesucht, welches im täglich Arbeitsalltag als Nachschlagewerk dienen sollte.Dieses Buch gibt einem die Möglichkeit schnell und effektiv an die benötigten Informationen zu kommen. So Besitz das Buch neben der üblichen Einführung in C, die Gott sei dank auch kurz gehalten ist, auch Abschnitte die sich mit den Eigenschaften von und Linker und Compiler beschäftigen. Besonders interessant erschien mir die Tatsache, das der Autor ebenfalls die Eigenschaften von makefiles beschrieben hat. Großes Lob an dieser Stelle.Der Großteil des Buches beschäftigt sich mit dem Softwaredesign für Embedded Systems. Hier werden alle Komponenten abgearbeitet, die für ein Funktionsfähiges Produkt benötigt werden.Das Buch Endet mit einer Fallstudie mit einem ATmgea88 und einer kurzen Einführung zu C++Das Buch ist also sowohl für Anfänger als acuh für Fortgeschrittene als zusätzliche Lektüre zu empfehlen!

Obwohl ich auf dem Gebiet der C-Programmierung für Embedded Systeme schon seit einigen Jahren tätig bin, kann ich die ein oder andere Sache doch noch aus diesem Buch lernen. Von daher, Kaufempfehlung :-)

Dieses Buch sollte auf keinem Schreibtisch fehlen, wenn man sich nur Ansatzweise mit der embedded Programmierung in C beschäftigt. Es werden sämtliche wichtige Themen in der Entwicklung eingebetter Systeme behandelt. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
